Will Toypurina travel around California or be in the same theatre?

Depends on funding, any updates about possible future performances will be posted here and on our Facebook page, when we know – you’ll know!

I missed the show, where can I find out more about Toypurina?

There are many sources from which you can learn more of Toypurina’s story, we have many links on our Facebook page. Our Scriptwriter Andrew Morales has also written a book about her.

 

Is it possible to purchase programs from the performances?

Absolutely, you can purchase a program for $5 from the Playhouse administrative offices. Just call 626-308-2865 ex 240 ahead of time, to ensure someone is there.

 

I enjoyed the show, and would like to find out more about the story/Native American history, where can I do that?

The best place to learn is through your local tribe, failing that, there are many wonderful Native News outlets. Native Hoop Magazine, Native News Online, Indian Country Today Media Network, and many more. You could also visit California State Indian Museum, and many Universities and Colleges across the Country offer Native American/Indigenous Studies courses, as well as books and papers written by professors. 

 

There was a part of the performance I didn’t understand, can you explain it?
